They do not do this "Day In History" thing everyday. My guess is that they only do it when the day is very important and relevant to another day, event, thing or place...such as June 4 here.

Note below that the first timespan between release of Thelma and Louise does not count the end date while the second graphic does. Remember that June 4, during a leap year, is day 156. To me, what this means is that the day itself will be market with something important...throughout the day. Don't forget the very last scene in the movie my friends, the whole reason for the movie...and of course, the timing.

Note below that the USA release of "Girl Interrupted" was on same day as the top of the 2000 Bull Market. After the following bear market of 2000-2002 the next bull market top was on Tuesday, October 9, 2007.
