Columbia, SC and Sacramento, CA are sister cities in death. They will both be inundated, flooded and completely washed away. They are both Capitol Cities. The both have multiple rivers that converge in the downtown area. They are both very important to their respective states and USA as a whole. Columbia is where the first draft of succession was written and Sacramento is "Gold Country". They are both very close downstream to huge reservoirs that were built long after the cities were established. They both have huge college campuses sitting very close to the river banks or downstream from the huge reservoirs.
