May 5, 2017 Eden, NC: May 5, 1989 GA Through VA Coming Up

I visited Eden, NC again yesterday and saw something that I did not know, but was very, very startling and revealing and telling...coming up if I have time, I am going to try and do this as it is very, very, very, VERY IMPORTANT.

So after my daughter and I ate in Eden yesterday I decided to go over to the Eden YMCA and take a stroll on the Smith River Greenway. As soon as we rounded the corner of the path and headed down toward the river I told Ellie...a bad storm came through here within the past couple years (the trees are all topped and broken off at the top). At first I told her this was probably damage from one of the hurricanes over the last three years..then I noticed...this is really confined and narrow path of damage. As we kept walking I said...no this was a tornado. Then we walked on through the damage area and lo and behold I saw a small plaque ahead. I told Ellie I will bet you everything that that sign tells of a tornado. Unfortunately I did not have my smart ass phone or I would have took a pic. I will get one later on. I had no idea of this storm. But I am well versed in the May 1989 storms. Come on folks, this storm was planned and it was also no coincidence that I decided to go for a walk here...even though walking and hiking and exploring is our favorite pastime. I do remember that the numbers on the sign said this...the tornado was 375 yards wide and 3.3 miles long. Have fun Eden but you have been warned of the hell that awaits you on 933. Why did each of these storms happen on 5/5 and why were they exactly 28 years apart...why my friends, why???


Please read the story below, the tornado was centered around "Kennedy", "Madison", "Adams" streets. All dead presidents, one of which was assassinated. And...to me, the storm was not centered in this area, but the area directly south of YMCA almost directly beside of Chaney's restaurant, which by the way was the first place that I dropped a flier at (I had no idea about this tornado when I visited Chaney's nor did I yesterday). Remember Gateway YWCA, Salem Greek Greenway, Washington Park....flooded, power off, YWCA closed.

The storm below was caused by man. It was not a "possible" tornado. It was a tornado.
